Duel 1 Questions and Answer Page 1
Q. Will there be a "5 second clock" at 80 points?
A. No. There are no "5 second clocks." The game ends when someone reaches 200 points or all participants are eliminated. Highest score wins.
Q. What is the minimum range on ICE's
A. 150 miles plus 1 gallon per bottle of nitrous-oxide.
Q. What equipment is legal?
A. Except as noted with crew and hand weapons, everything is ruled by the CWRQ and ODQ.
Q. I'm unclear about the Team make up and scoring. Can you clarify that more?
A. Each player's entry is a "Team". Whether that Team is one $25K vehicle or 25 $1K vehicles, the total for each player's vehicle entry is 60 points. These points will be divided proportionate to cost of the vehicles and will be posted before the duel. Mobility killing one vehicle nets you one third of the points. Example: Suppose Player A has a team of 5 Div5 cars, each car is then worth 12 points, mobility killing one is worth 4 points.
Q. How about the crew?
A. The crew is treated very similarly, except the 10 points are divided equally amongst all the crew on the Team. In the example above, if each Div 5 car had one crew member, he would be worth 2 points. In the case of remainder points, they are added to the value of the last surviving crew member of the Team. Example: Player B has two cars, each with a driver and gunner. Each of the 4 crew is worth 2 points except for the last one alive (it cannot be designated ahead of time) is worth 4 points (10 total).
Q. Do the skill point allotments and maximums apply per vehicle in a Team or per Team?
A. Per Team. Only one member of the entire Team may have 40 points, two may have 30 and so on.
Q. What is the turnaround times for moves?
A. I am going to try and keep 24 turnarounds on the moves, with a separate order required for movement and firing
