Probably the best angle to view a rubber bumper MGB. This one's currently on my Win2K desktop... |
| Both front
Rostyle hubcaps were replaced. Apparently at least one previous owner
parked by the "feel" method...
One advantage of a new muffler: a nice, shiny chrome exhaust tip replaced the plain, rusty old one... |

The wood shift knob and the steering wheel by "Personal" came with the car - and perfectly match the finish on my 1988 Ben Hogan Apex woods :-) Apart from those items (and the aftermarket radio and speakers) the interior is stock. The speedometer appears to have been replaced sometime in the past, since it looks to be just a bit more weathered than the other instruments. Note the lack of sun visors. Most of 'em I've seen look pretty sad anyway after a few months baking in the sun. I think I'll just leave 'em off... |

Fortunately, the rubber bumpers are in very good condition - those things cost a fortune to replace! |

The door mirror on this side was missing when I got the car - and the top of the door (above the stainless steel trim) didn't quite match the rest of the car. A new mirror - and two tries at getting the paint color correct - fixed those problems... |

Here's one current photo of the engine compartment. Go here for more - and to see what it looked like when I got the car... |
