| 9 months with Mallory | with Mallory & Jeffrey, 2001 | Abbey & Jeffrey |
We got Abbey from Beth in 1999, when she & her litter were just 8 weeks old. That was about 15 months after our 14 & 1/2 year old Keeshond, Cassie, passed away. So, you can see, we are in love with this breed, too.
Cassie was a wonderful dog, but did not come with the terrific background that Abbey and all of Beth's dogs have. The careful breeding and all of the TLC that Beth puts into her dogs makes a positive difference that we can really see, even in our "couch potato" pet (not show dog).
Beth is a tender hearted lady who loves what she does only second to the love that she has for these beautiful animals. She is honest, caring, professional, and very trustworthy. We feel very close to Beth and share with her pictures and updates on Abbey several times a year. Our entire experiences working with Beth have been so enjoyable that, the week we brought Abbey home, I actually found myself saying "I think I now know how an adoptive parent must feel about their child's birth mother" (something maybe only another true dog lover could understand, and not to minimize human children, of which we have two).
Which brings me to another important point ~ Keeshonds are known for being amazing with children. Abbey loves children, and babies, and all people, really (as did our Cassie). This breed is also known for being intelligent, playful, & friendly, and very protective, especially around water (Abbey always thoughtfully watches over us whenever we're in our hot tub). Also, fyi: Abbey has been in perfect health her entire life.
We will definitely purchase another Keeshond from Beth in the future and we have recommended her to several of our friends, and will continue to do so at every opportunity.
Sincerely,
Linda L. Crow
