Asher started his career with a Best In Sweeps and Res. Winners Dog at the Oklahoma specialty when he was a year old. He finished his title young, so I put him up until he was 2 years of age. His first 5 group placements were Group One's and a Best In Specialty at the Heart Of America Regional Specialty. I completed his Hall Of Fame breeder/owner handled in 16 months of showing. He then continued his career with Wade, starting it out by winning Best In Show at the National Specialty in 2000. He was # 1 KCA Showdog 2000 then #1 Keeshond in All Systems, including the Pedigree Award winner for 2001. He won another Best In Specialty during the 2001 Nationals weekend. Sire of 11 American and 1 Canadian Champion, plus all health tests clear. He has been an amazing friend. For all who know Asher, he is the epitome of what we look for in a Kees temperament. He was brought back out as a veteran at the 2004 Nationals and he had quite a time. He won Veteran Best In Sweeps, Best Veteran Male 2 of the 3 days and Best Stud Dog 2 of the 3 days. He ran for president, too. We were happy with the Vice President elect. He's more suited for that job anyway. It gives him more time to flirt and socialize. At the following national in 2005 in Columbus, OH Asher was even more revved up. He won his class the first day and went on to the 2nd Award of Merit in males over many of the current top ranked young males of the day, including our own. He was best Stud Dog both days and won his sweepstakes class also. Much to Asher's disappointment, I chose not to fly him to Oregon. Maybe next year, buddy...... AKC DNA # V219183, PHPT # KEM-028-N-M.
