What got me started
My dad was in the 31st Infantry Division, "The Dixie" Division. He was given a medical discharge and sent home. All he brought with him was what he had on. As the other kids played with their dad's stuff I had to go buy mine. So I started learning what I needed and have been collecting it every since. Anything you have that has to do with the 31st division, please let me know. Thanks

Where I learned to be a Gunsmith
Well, I've never had  Gunsmith training, but have had several years of Machine shop work. Also worked as a Certified welder. I have welded on Nuclear Reactors for Chicago Bridge and Iron. Just think your life is in my hands. If I had a bad day welding.... Can you say  "Melt Down"... I have worked on rifles and pistols for the last 30 years or so. Not much I can't do with them. I do not do total gunsmithing, Plenty of guys do that. I enjoy working with old military weapons.
